The Best Photos We Took in 2011

2011 was a great year for lacrosse and Woody and I were fortunate enough to be a part of the game in a new and different way. Turns out this blogging gig has its perks. We were able to get up close and personal at a number of events and capture some great shots. From the thousands that we took, many were actually in focus and we picked a few of our favorites to share. Enjoy.

From the high school final at Laxtoberfest. This is actually a save by the keeper but it appears that #20 is sticking the bottom corner.

“Michigan showed up to the Headstrong Classic looking the part of a D1 school”

That sucks. I was really hoping Michigan would ditch all their matching gear, deep talented roster, and massive coaching staff that they’ve had for 20 years when they went varsity so that they could show the establishment what “club ball” is all about. I guess they gave in to the pressure and kept all the nice things they already had.

That description was tongue in cheek because they certainly didn’t look like a D1 team when Towson was thrashing them. It was an attempt at LOLz, and obviously one that fell flat. Seasons Greetings!
